UTMB World Series Finals

Each year, three UTMB World Series events will be given the status of UTMB World Series Majors, becoming continental Series finals in the Americas, Europe and in Asia/Oceania.

UTMB World Series Majors afford permit Elites and Runners alike greater opportunities for qualification. Over 250 elites can gain direct qualification for UTMB finals. And for regular Runners, finishing a Major allows them to double the number of Running Stones they collect on the distance.

To qualify for a place at the Finals, you must compete in at least one of the UTMB World Series Events or UTMB World Series Majors, where you can collect Running Stones for use in the lottery, or be rewarded for your performance with direct access. You must also have a valid UTMB Index in the necessary category.

Elite athletes will be rewarded for their performance on the UTMB World Series with direct access.

UTMB World Series Events are the best trail running events on the planet and are organized to the highest quality standards, giving runners the chance to immerse themselves in the UTMB experience on all continents. The Events are the only place to collect Running Stones, which are mandatory to enter the UTMB World Series Finals lottery.

The top 3 male and women in the 50K, 100K, and 100M categories automatically win their place at the Finals.

Each year, three events get the status of UTMB World Series Majors, the leading events in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific.

Majors allow runners to double the amount of Running Stones collected compared to other UTMB World Series Events. The top 10 male and women in the 50K, 100K, and 100M categories automatically win their place at the Finals.The best runners of the different age categories also qualify. In total, 225 runners qualify directly for the finals at each Major.
