Everything you need to know about the recruitment process

Recruitment will take place in several stages:

Registration for 2027 will open in spring (late March / early April).
You will then be able to register by filling in a form. For volunteers who took part in previous years, a lot of their personal information will already be pre-filled. All you will need to do is check that it is correct and enter your role preferences and availability for 2027.
Until the end of April, we will process and confirm, as a priority, requests from local residents (notably from Savoie, Haute-Savoie, the Aosta Valley and Valais) and from loyal volunteers who have been with us for several years.
If places allow, we will then confirm requests from people travelling from further afield.
At the end of June, your schedules and logistical information will be sent to you to confirm your roles and your times of presence.

Officially created in 2015, the Volunteer Commission is made up of 12 active members (2 Swiss, 4 Italian and 6 French). It is chaired by Christian Bergamelli and works in close collaboration with the staff of UTMB GROUP, contributing its time and availability to the organization of the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc. What would the event be without its 2,600 volunteers? They are essential to the smooth running of the races, enthusiastically present in every role and thus taking part in the success of the world’s leading trail running event.
