YOUTH CHAMONIX COURMAYEUR

The YCC is a hybrid format challenge for young runners born between 2001 and 2009 with 2 races : a first trail race taking place in Courmayeur on Tuesday and a second short and innovative race format on Wednesday in Chamonix, YCC The Revenge. For this second run, participants will start in reversed order of the times achieved in the previous day's race, which means that the slowest runners will be given a head start with the fastest runners starting last. You don't want to miss the show!

The YCC is the perfect opportunity for the new generation of runners to taste the magic of the UTMB Mont-Blanc: a finish under the UTMB arch, speakers hyping up the crowd and the atmosphere, live tracking of the races, a challenge that takes place in two countries... and is two times the fun.

The 2 races in details

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30 / 1:00 PM

A short and innovative race format on Wednesday in Chamonix. This race will start the runners in the reverse order of the previous day's ranking, the first to cross the finish line will be considered the winner of the YCC The Revenge. Different distances for each category:

Minimes (born in 2008 or 2009): 2 km / 100m+
Cadets (born in 2006 or 2007): 3 km / 200m+
Juniors (born in 2004 or 2005): 5 km / 400m+
Espoirs (born in 2001, 2002 or 2003): 5 km / 400m+

Registration for the YCC will be possible starting January 10th at 11am, and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
