IN 2027, RUN FOR A CAUSE AND HELP PROVIDE A ROOF OVER THE HEADS OF THOSE IN NEED!
Take on a challenge that combines SPORT and SOLIDARITY! By choosing a Charity Bib in support of the Fondation pour le Logement des Défavorisés (formerly Fondation Abbé Pierre), you can take part in one of the world's most iconic ultra-trail events while supporting our fight against inadequate housing and homelessness.
Today, as revealed in the Foundation's latest report on housing conditions in France, more than 4.2 million people are living in inadequate housing conditions, including over 350,000 people experiencing homelessness.
By joining us, you will help make our work possible:
- Welcome and support people facing hardship through our Boutiques Solidarité (day centers).
- Provide stable housing for people experiencing homelessness through our Pensions de famille (supported housing facilities).
- Defend the rights of people facing eviction.
- Fund projects to renovate and build decent housing.
- Raise awareness of the housing crisis and call on public authorities to take action.
A LOOK BACK AT HOKA UTMB MONT-BLANC 2026!
In 2026, the Foundation had the opportunity to participate in UTMB for the third time, thanks to 16 charity runners who pushed their limits throughout their races and raised €32,000 to support our work helping those most in need!
Here is what one of our charity runners had to say:
“I chose the Fondation pour le Logement because I believe its cause is simple and makes so much sense: what could be more important than having a roof over your head? Especially in today's world. During training, particularly on the longest runs, you sometimes find yourself thinking, ‘I'm not motivated,’ ‘I'm tired,’ and so on. But at the same time, some people are sleeping outside, exposed to the cold and damp. It really puts things into perspective and reminds you how fortunate you are. I'm a very humble person, and I never imagined I could support charities in this way. So I'm genuinely proud to be able to do it through sport.” Fred
