The organization will also cancel pre-registrations for the UTMB World Series Finals (UTMB, CCC, OCC) of runners who are already registered for one of the non-Finals races (TDS, YCC, or PTL). It is not possible to register for the TDS, YCC, or PTL while participating in the lottery. It is also not possible to pre-register for multiple races subject to a lottery (UTMB, CCC, OCC, MCC, ETC).
Registration will be open to runners from 13 January 2026 at 11:00 a.m. (CET) on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

New in 2026: Lottery for the ETC
In 2026, a lottery system will be introduced for the ETC 2026 edition. Pre-registrations will be open to runners from January 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (CET) until January 19, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
It is not necessary to have a Running Stone or a UTMB Index to register for the ETC.
Runners may register for only one race. The organization will cancel, without refund, the registrations of runners who have entered multiple races during the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc week. The organization will also cancel pre-registrations for the ETC of runners who are already registered for one of the non-Finals races (TDS, YCC, or PTL).
(CET) on a first-come, first-served basis, until all available places are allocated.
The YCC is a race open to all runners, male or female, born between 2007 and 2012 ( underage categories, cadets and juniors), with or without a licence.
Participants under the age of 18 on race day must provide parental consent and complete a health questionnaire (exception: FFA license holders).
A pre-registration period will be in effect from 16 December at 11:00 a.m. (CET) to 22 December 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (CET), during which the team leader will pre-register their entire team at once. Each teammate must have previously created a MyUTMB account.
Requirements for participation
Registration is only open to teams consisting of 2 or 3 people. Pre-registration is based on the submission of a brief outlining the previous experience of each team member. Technical experience in a mountain environment, sporting background and team motivation will be assessed. Each team must complete a self-assessment matrix (available on PTL page). Any additional documents will not be taken into account.
Please note
Being able to communicate with the organisers during the event (Race HQ, field volunteers, emergency services, etc.) is essential to ensure the participants' safety. For this reason, at least one team member must be fluent in French, English or Italian (the languages used by organisers). A good level of communication and understanding is required, including via the telephone, which will be checked during the bib delivery. The PTL Committee has the right to prevent a team from starting if it considers that this condition is not met.
Review of dossiers
The PTL Committee will meet to review each application. The Committee is the only body that can decide whether to accept or reject a team's pre-registration. Its decision is indisputable.
Results of the dossier review/ draw
If, after examining the dossiers, the number of teams accepted by the PTL Committee is higher than the maximum number of runners allowed, a draw will be made.
The draw will be organised in such a way as to favour teams of 3 over teams of 2. If the total number of teams of 3 selected after examination of the dossiers exceeds the limit of 300 runners, a draw will be made from among the teams of 2. The results of the examination of the applications (or the draw, if any) will be announced by e-mail on 6 January 2026.
Application accepted and successful draw
If the team's application is accepted by the PTL Committee and the draw is successful, the team manager is granted the period from 6 January 2026 to 19 January 2026 to complete the payment of the entry fee by credit card.
Application rejected and/or draw with negative result
If the team application is rejected by the PTL Committee or the draw has a negative outcome, the team members will not receive any specific benefits.
Runners may only register for one race. The organisers will cancel, without any refund, the registrations of runners who have entered more than one race during the week of the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc.
Registration for charity bibs will open between December 16 and 22, 2025 on a first-come, first-served basis. A total of 285 charity bibs are available for runners who wish to participate and run for a meaningful cause in the fields of solidarity, health, inclusion, or the environment. You can discover the associations and registration conditions here.
Registering via a charity bib allows you to secure a race entry without going through the lottery, while paying the entry fee for the race of your choice.
Registration conditions:
- Must have at least 1 Running Stone and a valid UTMB Index in the category of the race you wish to enter (UTMB, CCC, OCC).
- Registrations via a charity bib are subject to the same rules as normal registrations listed on this page (bib price, cancellation, regulations, etc.).
- The donation and the entry fee are independent.
- The donor cannot recover any part of the donation. Once the runner registers, they are subject to the same race regulations as all other participants, including in the event of cancellation.
We would like to remind you that it is not possible to make a donation while participating in the lottery for races subject to the lottery (UTMB, CCC, OCC, MCC, ETC).
- Anyone born in 2006 or earlier may register for the following races: UTMB, CCC, OCC, TDS, MCC, ETC, PTL.

Due to a change in French legislation, a medical certificate is no longer mandatory for all the race of HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc 2026. This change is due to the introduction of the Health Prevention Course (PPS), a tool put in place to reinforce the health prevention for athletes. It replaces the requirement for a medical certificate by a short online course focusing on risk awareness and best health practices in sport. It takes less than 5 minutes!
New registration validation process with the PPS:
- Login: Go onto the official website of the PPS three months prior to your race to debute this course.
- Follow the online awareness programme: Complete the modules that will guide you through the risks, precautions and essential recommendations for running.
- PPS code: At the end of the course, you will receive a PPS code, that you will need to transcribe into your dashboard.
- Dashboard: Paste the PPS code received at the end of the course to insert it in your dashboard (Section : Registration status), in order to validate your registration.
Make sure that your details (first name, last name and date of birth) match your Njuko registration.
For safety reasons, runners must prove their experience before registering for the following races:
- UTMB: UTMB index valid in categories 100K or 100M
- CCC: UTMB index valid in categories 50K, 100K or 100M
- OCC: UTMB index valid in categories 20K, 50K, 100K or 100M
- TDS: UTMB index valid in categories 100K or 100M

To find out more about the qualifying conditions for elite runners at the UTMB World Series Finals, click here
Qualified elite runners are required to register through their MyUTMB account between 6 and 19 January 2026.
Elite and TDS runners:
Elite runners do not benefit from any priority or fee advantage when registering for the TDS.
In the event of a full race, elite runners (UTMB index >800 for men and >675 for women) can still contact the organisation by e-mail (elites@utmb.world) for a personalised study of their status.
The UTMB Index is only taken into account for the 100M category.
Elite and ETC runners: Elite runners do not benefit from any priority or fee advantage when registering for the ETC. In the event of a full race, elite runners (UTMB index >800 for men and >675 for women) can still contact the organisation by e-mail (elites@utmb.world) for a personalised study of their status.
Elite runners (ESPOIR category, with UTMB Index >750 for men and >625 for women) can contact the organization for a personalized assessment of their status.
The UTMB Index is only taken into account for the 20K category.
Elite and MCC, YCC, PTL runners: Elite runners do not benefit from any priority or fee advantage when registering for these races.
Runners wishing to benefit from a press or sponsor bib for one of the 3 UTMB World Series Finals races (UTMB, CCC, OCC) at the time of registration must provide:
- at least one Running Stone earned in the last two years
- a valid UTMB® index in the category admitted to the final
Runners have the option of registering as a 'group' (a local club or a simple group of friends). The objective of a group entry is that all group members have the same result in the draw, and this may be positive or negative.
The following rule applies: each group member participates in the draw with the lowest number of Running Stones held by one of the runners in the group. If the group obtains participation for a final, only the number of Running Stones used will be deducted from each runner.
To be eligible for group registration, all members of the group must meet the necessary criteria to participate in the lottery, have a valid UTMB Index, and have earned at least one Running Stone in the past 24 months (UTMB, CCC, OCC). Runners within the same group may register for different races of the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc (ETC, OCC, CCC, UTMB).
NB: group registration only concerns runners who have to be drawn. Runners who have a reserved place cannot pre-register as a group.
Registration is personal and non-transferable. It will not be refunded or postponed for any reason, unless otherwise stated in the regulations. Entries may not be transferred to another race or to another person for any reason.
- Cancellation insurance The purpose of this cancellation insurance is to enable runners to receive a full refund of the entry fee if they wish to cancel their entry for the reasons described in the terms and conditions of insurance, available HERE.
The cancellation insurance must be stipulated at the time of registration.
Refund without insurance : If the participant does not subscribe to the insurance, no refund will be possible.
Running Stones and cancellation of an entry Runners who wish to cancel their registration will be refunded the Running Stones used to participate in the lottery as indicated below:
Runners who have contracted a cancellation insurance and who are cancelling their registration before race day will be reimbursed 100% of the Running Stones used to participate in the lottery.
Runners who have not subscribed to cancellation insurance and are cancelling their registration before the day of the race will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the Running Stones used to participate in the lottery (rounded up to the nearest whole number).
Example: A runner has used 9 Running Stones for the UTMB lottery. He/she wishes to cancel the entry, but has not signed up for a cancellation insurance, so he/she will be reimbursed 5 Running Stones.
In the case of the cancellation of a race, for any reason whatsoever, decided more than 15 days before the departure date, a partial refund of the registration fees will be made. The amount of this refund will be determined in such a way as to enable the organization to cover all the non-recoverable expenses incurred as of the date of cancellation. In the event of cancellation decided less than 15 days before departure or in the event of interruption of the race, for any reason whatsoever, no registration refund will be made.
You can contact us via the appropriate form to benefit from priority registration under the conditions indicated in the link above.
See the pregnancy policy here: https://utmb.world/inclusion
Disabled athletes may request priority entry or a guide during the event. To find out more about our policy for athletes with disabilities: https://utmb.world/inclusion
Please note: A priority entry is subject to the same rules as a standard entry (minimum 1 Running Stone, UTMB index valid for the race, entry fee, etc.) except that runners do not participate in the draw.
