Due to a change in French legislation, a medical certificate is no longer mandatory for all the race of HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc 2026. This change is due to the introduction of the Health Prevention Course (PPS), a tool put in place to reinforce the health prevention for athletes. It replaces the requirement for a medical certificate by a short online course focusing on risk awareness and best health practices in sport. It takes less than 5 minutes!
New registration validation process with the PPS:
- Login: Go onto the official website of the PPS three months prior to your race to debute this course.
- Follow the online awareness programme: Complete the modules that will guide you through the risks, precautions and essential recommendations for running.
- PPS code: At the end of the course, you will receive a PPS code, that you will need to transcribe into your dashboard.
- Dashboard: Paste the PPS code received at the end of the course to insert it in your dashboard (Section : Registration status), in order to validate your registration.
Make sure that your details (first name, last name and date of birth) match your Njuko registration.
For safety reasons, runners must prove their experience before registering for the following races:
- UTMB: UTMB index valid in categories 100K or 100M

To guarantee a fair level of recognition for top athletes and to ensure a fair handling of applications, we reserve places for elite athletes at the UTMB World Series Finals (UTMB, CCC, OCC). Direct access to the UTMB World Series Finals (UTMB, CCC, OCC) is only guaranteed through qualification via the UTMB® World Series Events or Majors. To find out more about the qualifying conditions for elite runners at the UTMB World Series Finals, click here
Qualified elite runners are required to register through their MyUTMB account between 6 and 19 January 2026.
Elite and TDS runners:
Elite runners do not benefit from any priority or fee advantage when registering for the TDS.
In the event of a full race, elite runners (UTMB index >800 for men and >675 for women) can still contact the organisation by e-mail (elites@utmb.world) for a personalised study of their status.
The UTMB Index is only taken into account for the 100M category.
Elite and ETC runners: In 2026, a lottery system will be introduced for the ETC edition. Pre-registration will be open from January 8, 2026 at 11:00 (CET) to January 19, 2026 at 23:59. Elite athletes must pre-register within this period to take part in the lottery.
Elite runners will be directly selected based on their UTMB Index 20K:
Elite: >800 for men >675 for women
ESPOIR Category (born in 2004, 2005, 2006): >750 for men >625 for women
Selected athletes will receive a link to confirm their registration between January 22 and February 4, 2026.
Elite and MCC, YCC, PTL runners: Elite runners do not benefit from any priority or fee advantage when registering for these races.
Runners wishing to benefit from a press or sponsor bib for one of the 3 UTMB World Series Finals races (UTMB, CCC, OCC) at the time of registration must provide:
- at least one Running Stone earned in the last two years
- a valid UTMB® index in the category admitted to the final
Runners have the option of registering as a 'group' (a local club or a simple group of friends). The objective of a group entry is that all group members have the same result in the draw, and this may be positive or negative.
The following rule applies: each group member participates in the draw with the lowest number of Running Stones held by one of the runners in the group. If the group obtains participation for a final, only the number of Running Stones used will be deducted from each runner.
To be eligible for group registration, all members of the group must meet the necessary criteria to participate in the lottery, have a valid UTMB Index, and have earned at least one Running Stone in the past 24 months (UTMB, CCC, OCC). Runners within the same group may register for different races of the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc (ETC, OCC, CCC, UTMB).
NB: group registration only concerns runners who have to be drawn. Runners who have a reserved place cannot pre-register as a group.
Registration is personal and non-transferable. It will not be refunded or postponed for any reason, unless otherwise stated in the regulations. Entries may not be transferred to another race or to another person for any reason.
- Cancellation insurance The purpose of this cancellation insurance is to enable runners to receive a full refund of the entry fee if they wish to cancel their entry for the reasons described in the terms and conditions of insurance, available HERE.
The cancellation insurance must be stipulated at the time of registration.
Refund without insurance : If the participant does not subscribe to the insurance, no refund will be possible.
Running Stones and cancellation of an entry Runners who wish to cancel their registration will be refunded the Running Stones used to participate in the lottery as indicated below:
Runners who have contracted a cancellation insurance and who are cancelling their registration before race day will be reimbursed 100% of the Running Stones used to participate in the lottery.
Runners who have not subscribed to cancellation insurance and are cancelling their registration before the day of the race will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the Running Stones used to participate in the lottery (rounded up to the nearest whole number).
Example: A runner has used 9 Running Stones for the UTMB lottery. He/she wishes to cancel the entry, but has not signed up for a cancellation insurance, so he/she will be reimbursed 5 Running Stones.
In the case of the cancellation of a race, for any reason whatsoever, decided more than 15 days before the departure date, a partial refund of the registration fees will be made. The amount of this refund will be determined in such a way as to enable the organization to cover all the non-recoverable expenses incurred as of the date of cancellation. In the event of cancellation decided less than 15 days before departure or in the event of interruption of the race, for any reason whatsoever, no registration refund will be made.
You can contact us via the appropriate form to benefit from priority registration under the conditions indicated in the link above.
See the Chile Welcome Policy here: https://utmb.world/inclusion
Disabled athletes may request priority entry or a guide during the event. To find out more about our policy for athletes with disabilities: https://utmb.world/inclusion
Please note: A priority entry is subject to the same rules as a standard entry (minimum 1 Running Stone, UTMB index valid for the race, entry fee, etc.) except that runners do not participate in the draw.
The HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc organization is committed to responsible mobility.
Athletes who commit to following travel rules with the lowest possible carbon impact may, under certain conditions, benefit from a specific advantage regarding their participation in the lottery-based races of the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc (with the exception of the MCC).
Each athlete wishing to take part in one of the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc events will also be required to pay a carbon contribution intended to fund transition projects. The full details are set out in the Sustainable Mobility Policy.
