Banque Alimentaire de Haute-Savoie

The Banque Alimentaire de Haute-Savoie is a nonprofit food assistance organization that has been operating in the department since 1995.

In 2025, we distributed 1,452 tons of food and hygiene products, equivalent to 2.8 million meals, to nearly 25,000 people. We work with 75 partner organizations that distribute these products to people in need throughout Haute-Savoie.

To carry out this mission, we operate 10 refrigerated trucks and work with 60 supermarkets and grocery stores to collect unsold products. Our commitment also includes two major food drives each year: the spring food drive in June and the National Food Banks Collection in November. In 2025, these two campaigns collected 362 tons of food thanks to nearly 3,000 volunteers, reflecting the solidarity of the entire region.

Every day, 183 active volunteers help keep our organization running. Each day, 40 people work in our warehouse to meet the needs of our partner organizations and ensure that food and essential products are distributed quickly and efficiently to vulnerable people across the department.
