HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc commits to gender equality

Our commitments to a more inclusive and equitable world of trail running

We firmly believe in gender equality, both in our races and in the overall organization of events. This commitment is reflected in concrete actions aimed at creating a more inclusive environment that respects the needs of all athletes. Whether it’s improving infrastructure for women, implementing policies that support new parents, or ensuring equal prize money, we are doing everything possible to ensure that every runner, regardless of gender, can fully thrive in their trail running experience. Discover our key initiatives that demonstrate our unwavering commitment to parity and inclusivity.

Simplified support for new parents

We offer new parents the option to defer their race participation through our ‘pregnancy’ policy. This measure provides a flexible solution for athletes, whether they are pregnant themselves, partners of a pregnant woman, or adoptive parents.

Equal prize purse

The UTMB Group maintains strict equality between men and women regarding the prize purse. Implemented for the Majors and Finals of the UTMB World Series circuit, we guarantee that prizes are distributed equitably to all athletes, regardless of gender or the distance covered.

Women-Specific Infrastructure

We are also implementing infrastructure tailored to meet the needs of women, particularly during races over 50 kilometers. This includes private spaces separate from men, with sanitary products available at aid stations, as well as designated areas where women can change in complete privacy.
